Fernando Torres's brilliant strike against Manchester United has been voted Liverpool's best goal during October by fans in a poll on this website.



El Nino's Kop-end strike picked up 46 per cent of the vote to finish just ahead of Emiliano Insua's belter against Arsenal at the Emirates (43 per cent).

Liverpool's No.9 also came third with his sublime effort at Fulham which claimed six per cent of the vote.

The Castrol Rankings honor the world's best football player, who this year was Thierry Henry. After the presentation, Cristiano Ronaldo affirmed that, "players must prove they are the best at all time."
